Below are are list of common questions and answers. Please contact us if you cannot find what you are looking for or need more information.

When will the season start?

SPRING SEASON:
Opening Ceremonies and the first games will start early to mid March. Exact dates are determined by District 2  and will be communicated to parents as soon as possible. 

FALL SEASON:

Season begins late September exact dates are determined by District 2 and will be communicated to parents as soon as possible.


When are practices?

The practice schedule is determined by each individual team Manager and their coaches. T ball and Coach pitch can plan for 1 -2 practices a week and Minor and Majors can plan for at least 2 practices a week. 

Where are practices?

Practice locations are determined by individual team Managers and coaches. 

When are try-outs?

WLL holds two try-out dates. One at the beginning of February and one in mid-February. Exact dates will be posted on our website and Facebook page as soon as they are available. 

Who needs to attend Try-outs?

If your child is registered for the MINOR or MAJOR baseball or softball divisions, the player MUST attend at least 1 try-out date. 

**** Players registered for Tball or coach pitch DO NOT need to attend try-outs. 


Can I request a specific team or coach?

For T-ball and Coach Pitch divisions, yes. There is a space during registration for you to add in a coach request but it is not guaranteed. Requests are taken on a first come first served basis. Once teams are full no more requests will be taken for that team. Late registrants ( February 15th or after)  will be not be taken into account.  

Minor and Major divisions do not accept coach requests. They are drafted by managers after try-outs. 

Can I request a specific teammate for my child?

Minor and Major divisions do not accept teammate requests. Teams are formed via draft by mangers after try-outs.

What does my registration fee cover?

The fee charged for registration cover player uniforms (Jerseys and hats) manager and coaches uniforms (Jerseys and hats) insurance, charter fees, and equipment. 

What color Pants, Socks, and Belt do I need to purchase?


Uniforms Jerseys are designed by the league, once teams have been formed the league will let managers know of the individual teams colors. From there individual managers will pick out the colors and styles of pants, socks and belts for each team.  This usually happens in late February Early March. 

Where are games?

Game locations vary depending on the players division. Game schedules are produced by District 2.  For a complete list of all district 2 game locations please visit the District 2 website. 

* T-ball games are typically held at Tom Abe in Wheatland. This can vary depending on how many teams we have for that season.

What documents do I need to register?

We will need a copy of their birth certificate, a medical release, and either the school enrollment form or 3 proofs of residency. 

How do I volunteer to Manage, Coach or be a team parent?

You can register online to become a manager, coach and or a team parent. Simply fill out the requested information and we will contact you for further information. Thank you for volunteering!!!

What happens when it rains?

Games are not cancelled due to rain. Games are only cancelled due to field conditions or severe weather. Mangers/Coaches and or parents CANNOT cancel games. Game Cancellations come from District 2, The WLL President/Vice President and Game scheduler.

Will Cancelled games be rescheduled?


Yes, most games will be rescheduled as long as we have enough space and time left in the season.

When does the season end?


Regular spring season ends at the end of May.
